CDA has recently revoked the license of 14 housing projects

The Capital Development Authority (CDA has recently revoked the licenses of fourteen housing societies). Despite being warned, these societies still did not register with the appropriate authorities. In all honesty, this figure only represents the very beginning.

Illegal housing communities dominated Islamabad’s terrain. Only 22 of Islamabad’s 200 housing societies are legitimate, and 140 have never requested the necessary CDA approvals. Around 90% of the territory in zones 2, 4, and 5 is thought to be outside of CDA’s jurisdiction. These figures are astounding.

99 percent of these illegal communities still need to be finished. People are the rightful owners of stolen property worth Rs5.2 trillion.

Because administrators and regulators profit from this tactic by handing free plots to the wealthy, housing societies and land development in Pakistan continue to be frauds. The slavery of law enforcement and other political organizations is the outcome of schemes being given.

We need to promote apartment living rather than sprawl. Construction, not land development, should be the real estate industry’s pillar.
